2 easy steps to clean the stains of your couch with out spending a fortune!

Hello readers,

Today's blog will be about couch cleaning and how I manage to clean my corner sofa couch with just £3.50 (British pounds).

The couch is a corner 3 seater that can be turn into a double bed and its color is light brown.  The poor couch has been through a lot recently. Such as coffee spills, cats rolling on it after their play time, shoe stains, pen stains and dust. I believe anyone who have a very active family can relate to that. Also I believe that not everybody cant afford to have their couch professionally washed but they still want to have a clean house even if it last seconds. I surely can't afford to have the couch professionally cleaned. But I don't want them to be dirty either. So I head up to the store in search of finding some cleaning products that will help me to get rid of couch stains. I searched all the store isles but I couldn't find any product specifically for the couch and the products that I found were way too pricey for me. At one point I ended up in the laundry/detergent isle and that was the moment that I had an idea. What if I use laundry detergent to wash the couch? So I search for liquid washing soap for cloths and at that point is where I saw the spray stain remover which was perfect for the purpose I wanted it. Since it was already in a spray bottle and was perfect for white and color cloths which means the liquid wont leave any stains itself. The spray itself cost £1.50 and I bought a pack of 4 microfiber sponge which cost me £2.00. I will link the items I used at the end of the blog if you would like to take a look at them.

Step 1:  Spray the couch area by area and waited around 5 minutes so that the stain remover does it work!

Step 2: With the use of the microfiber sponge I rubed all the areas where the stains were very visible and spray them again and leave it for another 5 minutes.

Step 3: Fill a small bucket with warm water and by using the microfiber sponge start washing the couch. You may need to change the water at some point as the water will become really dirty at one point! I was very amazed that all the stains were removed including the pen stains which I never thought that was possible to be removed!

Then you just let the couch to get dry and the living room will smell and look almost good as new for few seconds! Then life happens! The two products I use are the pray https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-oxy-stain-remover-spray-750ml/p/0469990 and the sponges https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-microfibre-sponge-scourers-4pk/p/0328252 you don't have to buy the same products from the specific store as you can find similar in other store if you prefer. Just make sure that they are ok for white and color cloths as you want to remove stains and not to add any.

How I lost my job because of Corona virus/ Covid 19

I am writing this blog to express my frustration and disappointment with government, employee rights and life in general.  I started my new job right before Corona virus hit this hard and toilet paper disappear from every where.  I do live in the UK and got hired as a contracted worker through an agency. It was a job that I was more than qualify doing and the environment seemed too good to be true.  A week goes by and Corona virus was just a meme. Another week goes by toilet paper vanished from the face of earth.  Another week goes by schools/Universities rumored to be closed down due to lock down.  In the news the updates we were getting was how bad the virus is and that people will die as it is inevitable (how nice of them), no measures were taken.  Another weeks goes by all the produce, pasta and basic necessities are gone from the supermarkets, schools getting ready for close down and businesses were told to have thei...

1 minute chocolate cake recipe

Hello readers, Lately I have been dreaming and thinking about chocolate nonstop! So one rainy day I just couldn't resist those cravings anymore, but I didn't really wanted to go to the shop and buy chocolate. Since I didn't wanted to go out and buy chocolate and my chocolate cravings were becoming intolerable at this point. So I decided to scavenge my cupboards and find an alternative solution. After a lot of failures I finally figure out how to make the perfect chocolate mug cake!  All you need is: 2 tablespoons of white or brown sugar 2 tablespoons coconut oil 2 tablespoons of coconut milk (you can use any type of milk) 2 tablespoons of cocoa 3 tablespoons of flour optional: crashed walnuts or coconut flakes   Process: Melt the coconut  oil and add the sugar, milk, cocoa, flour, walnuts or coconuts and stir all the ingredients together. Then insert the mug into the microwave and let it cook for 1 minute! I found that 1 minute cooking is enough s it kee...
