Craving pizza but you are on a diet? An alternative way to create your own low calorie pizza! Less than 500 calories per 1 pizza!

Hello readers,

Some of us struggle with maintaining weight, loosing weight or having a healthier lifestyle. One of my personal struggles is letting go my favorite dishes. Like pizza! I love pizza! But pizza is not good as it is very high in fats and sugar! Just imagine one slice of pizza can contain the same calories as a piece of roast chicken with steam rice and vegetables all together. But pizza is so good and this is why I am writing this blog! This blog will include 3 different styles of easy homemade pizza which are more healthy and you can actually enjoy the whole pizza with less than 500 calories and not only just 1 slice.

Ingredients for the base:

1 Weight watchers tortilla wraps (128 calories for each tortilla wrap)
2 tablespoons of tomato paste (30 calories for 2 tablespoons)
100 grams of reduce fat grated cheese (I use either the weight watchers and if I don't find weight watchers I usually select any cheese that contains 3% fat only. For 100 grams of cheese is 214 calories)
Italian herbs
2 tablespoon of water

Process for the base:

Add the tomato paste in a bowl with the Italian herbs and the water. Stir them together and you have  a ready tomato sauce. Spread the tomato on the tortilla bread and add the cheese!

The total calories for the base are 372 and for toppings you can add any toppings you desire the best! Bellow I will have 3 different styles of pizzas that are my personal favorites.

Vegetarian Pizza (489 calories):

1 pizza base (372 calories)
8 black olives (64 calories)
2 tablespoons of sweet corn (24 calories)
1/4 red onion (12 calories)
2 vine ripened tomatoes (17 calories)

Process:

Add all the vegetables on the pizza base you created and bake it in the oven for 20 minutes on 180 degrees.

Farmhouse pizza (495 calories)

1 pizza base (372 calories)
2 slices of turkey ham (87 calories)
2 tablespoons of sweet corn (24 calories)
3 mushrooms  (12 calories)

Process:

Cut the turkey ham into small cubes and the mushrooms into slices. Then the turkey ham, sweet corn, and mushroom on the pizza base and cook for 20 on 180 degrees.

Meat lover 480 calories:
1 pizza base (372 calories)
2  pieces of British bacon slices (80 calories)
2 slices of turkey ham (24 calories)
2 slices of turkey pepperoni I use Hormel brand (4 calories)

Cut the bacon, turkey ham and turkey pepperoni into small pieces and add them on the pizza base. Bake the pizza for 20 minutes to 180 degrees. The reason I recommend british bacon is because there is less fat and more meat and yes it does taste like bacon!

This is how my pizza looked before I cook it! Unfortunately I don't have an after baking picture because I ate it! I hope you enjoy and stay healthy!
